Thank you very much for your "wellcome," and I think you write English very well. I can speak about salmon fishing and drinking all day. (But not girls when my wife is listening, she is by the way from Kamchatka). I understand that all in this forum write about fishing, my problem is that I cannot read Russian. Maybe sometimes I can read about the rivers in English?
I usually go fishing with twohands rods, in August I also sometimes swing my onehands. In the June fishing, with heavy water from the rain and melting snow, I cast very heavy lines. Later the lines are not so heavy, and the rods not so long and strong. When I have vacation, I go to many rivers in Norway, when I work i go to rivers near by in the evenings.
I am very eager to learn about the fishing in Kamchatka - What lines are used, floating, sinking? What rods - twohands or onehands? What rivers are good - I have looked at Avacha and Bystraya rivers, near Petropavlovsk, but I went very little fishing. Maybe I go fishing there in the coming summer.
Another photo from the summer, one small salmon and one big sea trout. My newest rod - a Sage One. And a slow August river near my house.
